It All Starts In The Kitchen

"Work smarter, not harder."
It's a phrase my daughter recently shared with me. Although she wasn't specifically talking about kitchens, the idea stuck. The more I thought about it, the more I realized how perfectly it applies to the way we cook, organize, and live in our homes.
So many of us spend time searching for ingredients, digging through crowded cabinets, working around cluttered countertops, or trying to prepare meals in kitchens that simply don't support the way we actually live. We work harder when our kitchens should be working for us.
That realization became the inspiration behind my newest venture.
Through The Orange Bee ~ Honey Can Cook, I help people create kitchens that are organized, functional, and inspiring. Whether you're planning a remodel, settling into a newly renovated kitchen, looking to reorganize an existing space, or hoping to gain confidence through cooking classes in your own home, my goal is simple: help you work smarter, not harder.
For me, the kitchen has always been more than a place to prepare meals. It's where family and friends gather, traditions are passed down, stories are shared, and memories are made. When a kitchen functions well, cooking becomes easier, entertaining becomes more enjoyable, and everyday life flows a little more smoothly.
Every consultation begins with one question:
"Walk me through a typical day in your kitchen."
The answer reveals how you use your space, what frustrates you, what works well, and what could work better. Together, we create solutions that fit your life—not someone else's idea of the perfect kitchen.
As I begin this new chapter, I'm excited to combine my love of food, organization, and teaching to help you create a kitchen that works smarter, not harder.
So, let me ask you the same question I ask every client: "Walk me through a typical day in your kitchen." Whether you're dreaming of a remodel, settling into a new space, or simply looking for a better way to organize what you already have, I'd love to help you create a kitchen that works for the way you live. Every great kitchen has a story, and I'd love to hear yours.
