Orange-Pecan Pancakes
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1¾ tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1½ cups milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon orange extract or orange water
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- Preheat griddle to 375*F.
- Whisk together the first 4 ingredients.
- In another bowl combine all the wet ingredients, stirring with a whisk or fork.
- Mix the liquid ingredients quickly into the dry ingredients.
- Use ¼ cup pancake batter for each pancake and cook on a griddle until browned on both sides.
